Music and space
Rocco Universal
Cosmic Tiger was founded in 2019 by Rocco Universal — the alias of producer, DJ and writer Patrizio Cavaliere.
Patrizio has spent much of his musical life travelling, listening, playing, writing and making things. His releases have appeared on labels including Soul Clap, Leng and Kolour Recordings. As a DJ, he’s spent decades digging for interesting records and playing them at clubs, festivals, parties and listening spaces around the world.
Alongside music, Patrizio has worked as an editor and writer for Mixmag Asia, Juno and others, interviewing many of the artists and architects he most respects and reviewing some of the music that moves him.
Cosmic Tiger loosely brings these threads together. Here you’ll find a slow-burning output of records, mixes, conversations and occasional curveballs, mostly produced by Patrizio, with contributions from friends and collaborators along the way.
