Our dear friend Ryota OPP follows on from his recent ‘Palace EP’ with his latest sonic meditations, serving three profoundly immersive tracks on ‘Bop EP’.

The Tokyo-based producer’s latest work forms the second instalment of his recently launched label, Encrypt Nude. Once again, he pours his heart and soul into a set of uncompromising tracks, each rich with atmospherics and deep psycho-spiritual intention.

The organic textures of ‘African Chorus’ patiently evolve over purposeful keys as transcendent kalimba rhythms intertwine, while the bittersweet melodies of ‘Kalimba Guitars’ elegantly drift into the endless ether.

Mystical and propulsive, the title track twists into dancefloor territory, with loose percussion echoing into space as the undulating synth motif meanders through the heads-down haze.
