Solidarity
All kinds of people, all kinds of music.
Our goal is energy exchange and collaboration. We're trying to create connections within a community of like-minded people who are spread far and wide, and we're doing so through the unthinkably powerful medium of music.
The members of this vibrant community necessarily celebrate diversity and embrace the rich treasures of humankind across the planet. Disco lineage is a common thread running through the sounds we resonate with, and its roots are nourished by inclusivity. Outside of that, the irrepressible vibrations we move to originate from every corner of the planet. In our world of music, art, philosophy and spirituality, all races, backgrounds and creeds are respected and welcome. We don't wish to overlook achievements outside of this realm, but this is our focus, and this is what we feel best qualified to speak of. We love, revere, admire and are deeply moved by work created by people from all walks of life. Our heroes and role-models are made up of masters, truth speakers and prophets, and include men and women from all backgrounds.
For too long now it has felt like the world, with a handful of exceptions, has been lurching to the political right. To see oceans of people stand together to protest against bigotry, injustice and intolerance is profoundly moving. To all those demonstrating, we are with you.
There is so much pain in the world right now. This, of course, isn't a new thing, though with the entire planet living under the shadow of an invisible virus, trapped and in fear for their livelihoods and their futures, it's possible we are enlightened by new perspectives about reality and the status quo. We can all do more. We can use music – this universally powerful medium to which we are all devoted – to affect change and generate unity.
If we are to find a way to advance humanity and improve how we interact with one another, it will only happen if we think and act collectively. There is far too much disparity in the world and finding a solution is not easy, but the answer certainly does not lie with exclusion. Spreading love feels like a good place to start.
