Toro y Moi hits Bangkok this July

Chaz Bear, perhaps better known by his Toro y Moi moniker, plays Bangkok’s Voice Space on July 30th. emerging from South Carolina, his prolific output is hugely varied, incorporating elements of jazz, rnb, and what’s probably easiest described as indie-dance. He rose to prominence as part of the chill-wave movement, with breakthrough song ‘Say That’ turning heads and making it’s way onto international airwaves. The event comes courtesy of Have You Heard, local organisers extraordinaire who have been responsible for a string of fantastic shows in the city, most recently bringing Thundercat to town… We were there, he rocked the shit out of it.
