Weekend escapism with Karma Kastle 2.0

Bangkok’s Karma Klique have made it their mission to showcase the highest quality international artists from across the spectrum of underground electronic music, as well as offer a platform for the small but brightly burning community of locally based talent in the SE Asia region. Recently they excelled themselves by flying over Tornado Wallace for their Karma Kruise boat party, and for their second installment of Karma Kastle, the team have pulled it out of the bag again, curating a formidable and diverse line up, perfect for a hedonistic city escape. Our personal must-sees from the expansive roster are head honcho of the always-on-point Multi Culti Records, Thomas Von Party, Japanese experimental maestro DJ Ground (ESP Institute), and of the locally based jocks on show, Transport’s Seelie is back in the country to show us what time it is, Nite Ride big man Boogie G brings a selection of his impeccable record collection, and Karma Klique’s very own Sunju Hargun takes the stage with his brand of deepness. All tastes are catered for, though, you can peruse the full artist list below to see what tickles you.

Apart from the music, there are plenty of other reasons to head out. The event takes place in the stunning surroundings of the Mirasierra Resort, nestled in the beautiful foothills of Khao Yai, and just a short drive from the dust and steam of Bangkok. The show lasts for three nights, and they’re promising a bucket load of interesting activities for anyone who needs a break from dancing, including meditation workshops, cooking classes, and wine tasting.
